Nickel alloy 800 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy that resists carburization and oxidation at elevated temperatures. High nickel content in its composition makes the alloys highly resistant to both chloride stress-corrosion cracking and to embrittlement from precipitation of sigma phase.
