IN1272 Indium Metal Powder

Descriptions of Indium Metal Powderindium-in-metal-powder

Indium is a highly ductile and silvery-white rare metal with a bright luster. It is a single crystal with no pores and is used in ITO film, solder in electronic industry, sealing element in low temperature and vacuum area, solubility anode and nuclear reactor control bar.

Through atomization, Advanced Refractory Metals can produce indium powder with D50 around 10-15 um. Besides, we can offer Indium powder with a different particle size as requested, such as -325 meshes, -500 meshes, -600 meshes, etc.

Applications of Indium Metal Powder

Indium powder is mainly used in the production of solar cell conductive paste, ITO conductive film, welding materials, low melting point alloys, seals, etc.

Pure Indium metal applications:

-Thin films to form lubricated layers
-Making particularly low melting point alloys (e.g. an alloy of 24% indium-76% gallium is liquid at room temperature)
-Thermal interface material
-Control rods for nuclear reactors, typically in alloy of 80% silver, 15% indium and 5% cadmium

Packaging of Indium Metal Powder

Our Indium Powder is carefully handled to prevent damage during storage and transportation and to preserve the quality of our products in their original condition.
